- An ELEVATION is the front
view only of
a building, totally flat, usually coming directly from a set of plans.
I can add a bit of landscaping and color to make it more appealing.
- A PERSPECTIVE is
a view from two sides (front
or back and the most interesting side). I generate this view from the plans
by hand or by using “Sketchup”. If you already have your design
in Sketchup, or another program, you can email it to me.
- Which do you prefer: BLACK AND WHITE,
COLOR SKETCH, OR FULL COLOR?
- Determine the LEVEL OF DETAIL of
your building. ( I can best assist you by seeing a photo, hand sketch or
elevation and floor plan)
- Express your time frame. A typical rendering can be a one-three week
turn around, but that is of course based on work that is already in progress.
- At this point, I will send you a full PROPOSAL, describing
all of the above factors as I understand them, and a cost. If needed, I
can re-assess your needs/budget and revise my proposal. Feel free to respond
to the proposal with honest feedback. (See sample of Proposal/Letter
